Snug As A...

bug in a rug.  This is what Mom said  when

she saw my ear peaking out from between the blankets

and quilt after she came back from food shopping. I had

went into the quilts in order to have a snug little cat nap

while Mom was away.

Mom was good in that she did not disturb me and

went to another room to do stuff until I came 

sauntering up out of the room as she knows the code

of the cat in terms of cat naps and human beds

Special Pettin' Spot

Its been a little while since Mom and I had a good petting

session.  We have done pettin', but it was a bit since 

there was a longer time of pets with lots of meows of happiness.

Just recently Mom found a special spot right on my neck that made

me go into super pet mode of demanding more and using 

my paws to direct Mom for more pets.

I also twisted  around in order to better direct the pettin'.

Mom was able to reach both my neck and chin 

where I enjoyed the ultimate in pettin' with lots of mews

and purrs and licks for Mom

Furiendly Gossip

I'm took some time to talk to Sealia here for a little bit

of gossip as we were both chillaxing again behind the

rocking chair.  It was nice little chat and she gave out

some juicy tidbits of information about the goings on

and I told her of the outer rooms of the house including

some good places for swimming, which I do not like

but she might appreciate.

Through the gossip ended when I noticed that there 

was the flashy box after all its hard to get good gossip

with another ear listening into the conversation.

Thursdays 'Tocks

Mom took some more unathorized pictures now

she took one of my tortie tocks when I was going

into the hole of the cat tree.  She said she was just

happy that I took to this part of my tree as it was the

one area I avoided as I like the other part of my tree.

Its very embrassing as some private parts are visible for

all to see.

I might have to repirmand her through I am bad at that

as I went to her and started purring very sweetly and

differently than I did before.  I need to rethink things

as I am obviously missed one of the steps of human

training to purr after such indiginity.

Easy Sunday Interruptus

I was taking it very easy on the pillow of the bed

for a bit of a nap that was interrupted by Mom

who came and stuck the camera right in my face.

Mom says that I was cutes with the way I was

using the pillow and wanted to catch it right quick

I Ppfed at her as obviously I was taking a cat nap

when she came and knew this beforehand.  And I also gave

a strong stinkeye so that she knows that its rude to

do this.  Hopefully other Easy Sundays would not be

so rudely interrupted by the camera.

World Cat Day

Happy World Cat Day to all of my

furiends.  Today is our day of celebrating and to

do this in Cat Blogosphere Style

we look to our ambassador for  this years events

towards Mitalee from Critters in the Cottage

My Mom got into the spirit of Cat Day by giving

me the paper bag to play with.  Usually we

do not have these types of bags but Mom gone

to the pharmacy to get medicine and they gave

the huge bag that I went into total bliss over

It was more potent than how I am on with

nip.  Paper is mine nip of choice as it makes

me super excited and I am happy mine Mom gave

me this as a way to celebrate World Cat Day  

Naughty Tortie Tuesday

I was very naughty to be so interested in the cords

as I was trying to play with them and jump after

the cords.  This was of course not something I should

be doing as those cords are a No-No at home

I am not normally a chewer of cords so this was

unusual of me to decide to go for the cords with

such gusto.  Even though it was bad Mom first

took a picture of me going after those cords

I mean if I am not suppose to do this and it naughty

Mom should not be giving me such mixed signals on

this issue.  Right?

Thankful Thursday

I am very thankful this Thursday because I've

gotten a lot of cool stuff going on as part of the

Blogville Olympics there has already been a lot

of fun events.  And in a few of the ones I've been

in have already awarded all of us great athletes the gold

including the gymnastics event  

at Madi  and couch potato peeling with Lily Belle

In addition I have two awards to share one from Spitty

and the other I hope Madi's Mom does not mind picking

up this award as we were looking at the blog and saw this

offered for Moms who felt like her sister, which my Mom

feels very much purrs.

For these awards there is suppose to be seven

unusual things about me and interesting stuff about Mom

I will list four and let Mom list the other three

Willow: I told this before but it is really weird that my

fur turns various different colors sometimes more orange

and sometimes more black

Mom: Mom has flat feet with no real arch which is weird

for a human

Willow: While I am very flexible I have trouble with

jumping up and have to use several props to jump up to the cabinets

Mom: Mom never owned a car as uses public transportation

which is much cheaper to get around than driving

Willow: I sometimes listen to when Mom calls my name and come

to her so embarrassing

Mom: Mom never had a cavity paws crossed as she tries

to have good tooth maintenance

Willow:  I do not always meow at 0 ten O'Clock in the morning

as I let Mom sleep in

I am also thankful that I am one of the

16 finalist in synchronized snoozing that

is being hosted by The Island Cats.  I would

like to ask for some help with voting as I know

I would not win against Eric and Flynn, but I

would like to make a better showing than I am at

2% of the vote with 4 votes.  So I would be

very thankful for this support

Tasty Hand

It may appear as if I am giving Mom the bad side-eye

here, but I was just checking to make sure that she

was giving me some treats in her hand.  After a little

break with treats she saw that I looked thinner and

been giving more, but it is always good to make sure

that the Mom really is offering treats

I like to take the treats from her hand sometimes since

there is often some other tastes on humans hand that is special

that is not the same if it is just put elsewhere. Yes Mommy's

hand is yummy, but it is doubly when there are treats

Olympic Spirit

I'm ready for the Blogville Olympics

staring today and keeping up with all of our

furiends progress in the events.  I'm thrilled to

be a competitor in these events.

Today is the opening ceremonies for the Olympics

and this means the parade of athletes at Posie's that

I am proud to take apart of as a cat-athlete in these

games.  Remember to cheer for all of the athletes in

the coming two weeks as we watch all our furiends

compete and show their prowess purrs.

Also I will be sure to watch the humans in

their endevor for Olympic Gold.

Mom Monday

Mom is very good at making sure that if I

want to be on a spot she would make room or

better yet she moves away so I can claim the

whole spot as mine.  Even if it is a place that I

have ignored like the couch she would make sure

it is properly maintained for my confort no matter what.

For all this work I have been asking for lots

more pettins especially under my chin where

I guide Moms hand with my paw to the spot

that I want petted where she does purrs.

Nip Etiquette

For me enjoying nip pillows are serious business

as I like to focus on those pillows for a long time

instead of rough play as it is like when humans

have a fine wine as each type of nip has a flavor that

must be appreciated very slowly

It might be more demure than the normal wild and

crazy activity of nip, but it is just as enjoyable especially

when licking it.  It has a very special taste that I

likes to savor

Tortie Toes on Tuesday

I'm just airing out my all of mine toesies today.

After all of the athletic training for the Olympics

I am just resting up as I am almost finished with

my events so I just lyin around for toesies kisses

Or just a little paw display for a Mom. This makes

Mom happy as she loves my multicolored toe

beans on my little white socks so its going to

be a good smoochable day here

 

Sunbeams on my......

shoulder and fur.  Is the bestest it can be as it

lights up all my furs and brings a burnish to all

my oranges.   It has been a sunny summer that

has led to very much funtimes by the window just

soaking up the sun.

In fact the sunbeams are bestest with the window

blinds closed as the pawsition of the house means

that when it is the afternoon a whole lot of sun comes

streaming through these blinds, purrs

House Trashing Success!

The pawty caused total wreckage and I wanted

to thank all my furiends from coming especially

all the cats that brought extra catnip as it revved up

our engines to continue to do some awesome destruction.

I also want to give a huge smoochie to Spitty

who gave me the Very Inspiring Blogger Award.

There are specific rules for this award through I wil

follow the modified rules the Spitty made in answering

one fact about me and Mom and then giving it out to

two bloggers.

I am non-picky eater I would try anything that is

put in front of me as Mom wants variety in my food

and I will dig into this different food without objections.

Mom wants to go overseas very muchly, but has

only gotten to go to  as far as Canada twice when

 taking French in Highschool

House Trashing Pawty

Who's Ready to PAR-TAY!!

I've got everything one needs for

the energy to wreck the house.  Some

oily sardines with lots cans that

we can then proceed spill on the carpet

And milk in glasses that are best for

splashing around the tiles before we

get to the best part with  

Lots and lots of papertowels and

toilet paper that we can shred all

over the house for Mom to pick up

once she gets home.

So come and hang out at my

house.  There is no need to be

careful it is purrfectly acceptiable

to trash it as much as possible.

Training Thursday

I have been taking my training for the Cat-O-Lympics

very seriously.  I want to be limber for some of my

more fancier moves as these are dangerous to do

if I do not practice. These moves are not for any

little kittens as it took years to master.

Right now I am working on what I will do

for the floor exercises that Madi is hosting.

I am practicing my rolling with body parts in

all different directions.

As my practice goes I have managed an almost complete

180 with paws and head in opposite directions as a

part of the freestyle division of competition. 

I'm an Avatar

My Mom helped me to make up an avatar of myself

after following Oui Oui's instructions on how to do it

all.  It is a very striking likeness through Mom went

for a more abstract version of my tortie pattern in order

to capture my artistic purrsonality because

of  my constantly changing fur colors.

She really captured my likeness with the white socks

as well as my nosie beauty marks. She is slowly earning

high blogging marks back from the previous demeterits:) 

Pawty Next Weekend

After my last post on Mom missed Gotcha Day post

there was a chorus of meows that suggested a regular

House Trashing Pawty to get back for this human oversight.

It will require some secrecy so that Mom is unaware of anything

different, which would mean bunny kicking distractions.

Next Saturday she is going to the farmers market in

Troy for some fresh fruits and vegetables.  This would

be the purrfect time to throw a house trashing that is

sure to surprise my Mom when she gets back home with

all those goodies for herself she would have to do a whole

bit of cleanup once home.

Miffed Tortie Tuesday

I am miffed at Mommy because she did not have time

to make a post and party for my Gotcha Day.  She

said that she meant to make one, but that she had buzzy

day with the light treatment and other things that meant

that she was unable to post about this.

Mom said that it would be made up when my birthday

comes later this year and that she got me a large stuffed

cat fish for mine Gotcha Day as well as some gooshy food

of cod, salmon, and other fisheses.

  It was a start, but I still 

ignored her for this transgression of not throwing a huge

pawtry for me and instead only a small little home celebration.
