Magic Tricks

When I want to distract my Mom from troubling news
I do different things to entertain her.  Here I am performing
a magic trick that other furiends know as the disappearing head.
The secrets to this trick is hidden by cat kind so I can not
reveal too many secrets.  All I can say is that the paw is the key.

As you can see in the first picture my head was visible,
but now with a quick move my head appears to be gone
and there is no real place that would concieviably hide
it in this frame.  This is the trick of stunning the humans
with illusion so they are amazed by the result.

Of course my head did not go anywhere as it was
on my head the whole time.  It is a mystery that
will be questioned through the ages.
Thank You .
You were a wonderful audience that should come
back for another show.

Photo Hunt: Painting

I have written before about finding the best use for sunbeams
and one of the other ways I use them is to paint my fursuit
with light.  I like to move around in different pawsitions
and have the beam dance around on me to create unique
paintings of me.

Painting with light takes a lot of time in order to
make sure that every part gets the right type of brush work.
My Mom is watching I work on my latest masterpiece
with this thin sunbeam.
The painting was purrfect as soon as I got the light
to follow the lines of my face.  This painting will highlight
the two shades of color and the comtemplative mood that
I was in at the time.

Flopping Friday

I tend flop down on the ground in order to gain enough
momentum to be able to roll over.  Going down headfirst
may seem scary, but it is the best way to gain the speed
needed to make a full turn.  Sometimes the flopping does
not happen as I misjudge the distance available to do a full turn.

This time the flopping partially succeeded as I forgot that
the couch was behind me so there was not the room
to do a full turn.  I was able to get some air by moving
myself as I turned to have clearance for a half- roll.

Thankful Thursday

We are thankful for all of the warm words of support
from our furiends as she goes through this process.  She was
worried when the process involved surgery
as the probable diagnosis could be bad depending on the
results of the biospy. The surgeon is going to remove the node on
right leg to do testing to see the cause of the swelling
through he said that it is a short with minimum recovery time.

YAWN it is tiring when it is the humans that have to
go to the V-E-T since this means nurse duties for the humans.
This is hard as they do not listen and do what is best for
themselves even when we try to make them as it serves their
best interest.  I am thankful she is a decent patient and does
not meow too much.

Wordy Wednesday

My Mom will be going to the surgeon to see what
to do about her glands being enlarged as they think
this is tied to her skin.  The primary doctor said the very least they would
want to do a biopsy to see if it is what they narrowed it down to.
I am keeping my Mom company on the bed before she has
to go out so that she would feel better about what happens.
Since my Mom would be gone most of the day I will
not be able to access the computer to do much visiting
as we would be digesting the surgeons words.  On Thursday
I hope to have decent news about the next steps for her.
Or at least know the direction she has to take and hope
the leg where the swelling is the greatest surgery can be done
without any deep cuts until there is a clearer diagnosis.

Tortie Tuesday

I love to play with the computer chair as it has so
many features that can be used similar to a toy. Besides
the chair fabric there is also this contraption that
moves up and down when played with.  One of my favorite
uses for it is as a face scratcher as it is purrfect for getting hard to reach spots
when Mom is not home to do scritching duties.

The material is also able to withstand any type of
bitey that is usually discouraged with other things
as they would break.  Biteys oftentimes have to be soft
so as to keep up a good petting, but with the computer
chair the bitey can continue without a pull back of the hand or
a No so this is why I loves this computer chair.  There
is just so many places to play on it.

Imitating Human Posture

Humans are very intriguing in the way they do things
like the way they sit.  I know that they are always
wondering about how we can be comfortable in
"weird" positions, but their postures are truly "weird".
Being able to balance the way they do seems unnatural
through with some practice it is possible to maintain that position.

When I act like a human Mom makes
noises about how I am being very cute.  I guess it is easy to
impress the humans when imitating their behavior as they
respond positively to this action and offer up a bunch of
treats so there are great benefits in copying their posture.
