I love to be the a major part of the welcoming committee
and go to the area where people are as it is my business
to be in the middle of everything. I like to expose my belly
to them and carry on a conversation with them as they need
to know my opinions on things.
Understanding and waiting strangers is an important
role that I take seriously as I also investigate the peoples
bags. Welcoming committee work may be hard, but
is has the rewards of being praised for being a pretty
and friendly kitty. Purrs are also appreciated from visitors.
If only Cosmo and Ling were as welcoming as you, Willow! They run and hide as soon as they hear strange voices or when the doorbell rings! And this has gone on ever since they moved in 3 yeas ago! Do you have any tips on how to make them more "welcoming"?
ReplyDeleteIs this welcoming deal a tortie thing? 'Cause Binga is the welcoming committee here. She doesn't do the belly display, though - she just walks right up and says hello!
ReplyDeleteThat is so nice of you Willow to greet all the guests. We are all so scary, that we run when people show up. Hope all of you have one heck of a Friday. How is Mom doing?? Sending lots more purrs. Take care.
ReplyDeleteWe bet all the humans enjoy being welcomed by you and your tummy, Willow! Good job!!
ReplyDeleteWillow, you are the purrfect hostess! I don't know what I would do if I didn't get to meet people.
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend!

Hannah is our meeter and greeter but Lucy is a little shy and likes to observe the visitors before deciding to approach them.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
You are very rare among feline kind! We always hide when strangers come over.
ReplyDeleteYou are a great welcoming kitty fur sure! I greet everyone too...but mostly it's because I'm nosy!
ReplyDeleteWe love a welcome committee like that. Most of us run when people come over....except Mozart who has to check out everyone!
ReplyDeleteEver since they brought those vacuums in to take the ducks out of our walls, I hide under the bed when someone comes. When I see there's no loud noises, I come out and shart rubbing on a few strange legs.
ReplyDeleteWillow you have the most welcoming tummy I've ever seen and Mom says she'd love to give you a rub.
ReplyDeleteHugs Madi
Oh Willow, mommy wants me to be just like you. I leave the room when someone comes to see mamma.
ReplyDeleteWillow, you are just what our Mommy loves to see at folks' houses; a friendly kitty face! She has a big bag that's fun to crawl into.
ReplyDeletePee Ess: We have been purring for your Mom's tests to come back with good results.
I feel the same way Willow, I love to welcome people to our home! I am sure they are all furry glad to meet you. Kit and I have been purring for your mom, I hope she is doing better.
ReplyDeleteWillow, you are so pretty!!! We bet everyone is happy to see you! Lots of love, Debbie & Holly
ReplyDeleteI am the welcome kitteh at my house! It is a very impawtant job. Without us, who would distribute furs evenly on the visitors?
ReplyDeleteOur mommy would love to be welcome by you Willow! Around here my sisfurs Sadie and Isabella are the welcoming committee and I go check out the inside of the closet!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
Angel
Willow, you are performing a very important service that makes your house a wonderful home!
