Sometimes when Mom has a drink I try to drink from
her cup. When I am very persistant she would get me
have a glass of water from one of her small cups so
that I can enjoy it and let her drink in peace without
cat paws in her cup.
The small glass is the best way to drink as I can
fit my face into the cup with ease to take little sips
from it. I have other places to drink, but I like to
drink from cups as it is something my Mom does and
it looked like a lot of fun.
Today is also my 100th post it seemed as if the time just
passed so quickly. I did so much during this time and
love how close, sweet, and wonderful
the cat blogers are as my Mom is going through this health
problem. I love being here and purry headbuts to everyone
for helping and making things so wonderful and welcoming.
My human still drinks bottled water, even though it is no longer seen as the proper thing to do, so I never get to stick my face in a glass she is drinking from! She has sugary coffee drinks in mugs, but ick, who wants to check THOSE out?

Concatulations! We luff visiting you. Purrs to your Mom and you.
ReplyDeleteWe don't do that, Willow, but our mom's first adoptee, angel Chumley, used to chew on plastic glasses. That's as close to "drinking" from a glass that he got. :-)

Cosmo used to have FLUTD and was told he needed to increase his water intake (along with a special diet and more canned food) so our friend, Ellen, suggested we put water in a human cup and see if it helped. And it DID! I don't understand it, but they both LOVE to drink from that glass.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your 100th post, Willow. I hope your Mom is feeling good this weekend?
Congrats on your 100th post! It's amazing how time flies. Mom is gonna give us some water in a glass to see if we likes dat. We don't drink much water cuz we gets lots in owr stinky goodness cans and from owr raw chick-hen.

Congrats on your 100th post, sweet furiend!
ReplyDeleteYou know, even if your Mom gives you your own special glass to drink from, that does not mean you cannot still drink from hers! All the glasses with liquid inside belong to the kitteh.
Willow, our mom does not like us drinking from her glass and she won't give us our own glass because we knock it over.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your 100 post!! Here's to hundreds more!!

ReplyDeleteHi Willow, Spitty's Human here. Yes, you are right--milk/cream does disagree with many kittehs, and is probably not the best thing for them.
ReplyDeleteHowever, Spitty is not a big eater and sometimes I worry about getting enough calories into him. I had never let him have dairy products, but one day a few months ago I put about a tablespoon of half-n-half in a dish for him and he LOVED it. It does not seem to upset his tummy nor give him diarrhea, so I have continued to let him have a very small serving once a day (or rarely, twice).
Your Human is wise to restrict your drinking to water ;-)
Happy 100 Willow! That's a really big deal....tell you mom she had better put some champagne in that glass of yours. ; )
