Tortie Tuesday

For this Tortie Tuesday I am trying to stay on my
back without the help of a barrier and I almost got it.
I got tons of treats and pets after doing this move because
I trained my Mom to do that when I try to turn over.

.
Mom is going to be gone almost the whole day.
After work she has to go to the human V-E-T
to figure out what type of skin condition she has
after ten years of no clear answers.  I confort her and tell
 her not to get upset over not knowing.  I purr that it
must not be too bad if the rest of her is healthy.
Still these tricks are a way to get her mind off the problem of
not knowing.

Memorial Day

On this Memorial Day I am reflecting on all of the individuals

who lost their lives and taking some time to virtually

visit Arlington Cemetry to honor their sacrifice.

Sunbathing Sunday

I am taking a sunbath through the window screen.

It is pure bliss to get this type of bath after such a long time.

The weather is finally right to have this type of

bath after the cloudy and snowy winter so I am enjoying

it to the fullest.

Saturday Stare

Can I have that camera strap to play with it would be

some much fun and I will be good and not destroy

anything.  Promise!

Far Out Friday

Woah! Why does everything seem so fuzzy and

off kilter.  What happened last thing I know

I was playing with a toy and now I do not know which

way is up or down.

Toysday-Computer Mouse

I have my own wireless computer mouse now that my

Mom got me because she thought that it was cute for

me to have my own mouse.

What she does not know is that I can control the computer

anytime and use it for my own purposes and what is

play can actually be me using the computer without her.

Little does she know =*.^=

Wednesday Movie

 

I love getting treats, but there are times when my

Mom insists that I work for my treat.  There are times

that I obey and then there are other times that I

do not.  Either way I will get the treats.  This

video was taped during one of the times where I listened

to my Mom.

Non-Tortie Toes Tuesday

Here is a closeup of my Non-Tortie toes, if you biggify the picture

it is possible to see my small extra thumb.

These small thumbs are a favorite spot for me and I demand 

that my front toes rubbed a little when resting.

When this is done I make very happy kitty moaning sounds.

Mom Monday

I love my Mom and purr for her often

When she comes home I have to greet her and make sure

my scent is on her after she was outside.

She spoils me a lot with letting me getting away with 'bad

cat things' sometimes.

Through it all we have a very loving relationship where we

mutually give eachother loving.

Changes

Excuse me I have to see all of the changes with the blog.

Nothing should be done without my permission and I

believe that you managed to make some good improvements with the design.

I definetly like that you put a picture of me in the header

and gave it a sense of style that is reflective of my personality.

Over Worked

YAWN!  I am so tired after all looking after my Mom.

It is a lot of work to make sure that she meets all my needs.

Making sure the humans take care of all the needs to a tired cat.

I am going to have a little nap now that I am sure that everything has

been done to my satisifaction.

Patrolling My House

I always want to make sure to rub against everything in the house so that

my Mom knows that it belongs to me and no one else.

It is also important to give an inspection of all of my belongings and

here I see that she has not gotten around to dusting.

I know she was busy, but this behavior is not accepted.

All of the house has to be clean or else there would be a need

to redouble the inspections 

Troll Bridge

When you are trolling it is always important to stretch the claws.

You want to remind the humans that you are in charge and would block them

from getting into the next room.

  I also am using my whole body to block passage to the next room so there was no

way to get around without an offering to the cat 

Napping Experiment

I wanted to see what the big deal was to sleeping under the covers it turns out that

I was at the wrong part of the bed.  That seems illogical there is no wrong part of the

bed to sleep on.   

Trying New Moves

I have been trying new acrobatic moves, but I still need to have support

from a table to keep position.  This move allows all of my various

coat colors to be shown up for full effect.

I know my Mom likes to comment on the changes that occurs in my

coat color and I get a lot of attention this way.  So I try to work

on this move so it could be done in full view without the

table getting in the way of full viewing

I Am Annoyed

Why are you sticking the flashy boc in my face when I just wanted some loving.

Moms are so difficult they always want to take pictures rather than

going towards pettings that we deserve.

Reopening of Hiding Spaces

With my mom finally done with graduate school this semester I am able to freely

get underneath the desk. 

Before it was cluttered with all of the books and research for classes.  Now there

is finally room to explore and rest within this nice cubby.

I am a happy girl to have these spaces opened up at last.

Introductions

I wanted to introduce myself to the Cat Blogosphere community

I am a 7 year old Tortie owned by a human that goes to Graduate School.

We have been interested in the lurking in the blogosphere community, but when she wanted

a break from her studies we decided to try and find Chey.

I won and thought it would be awesome to start a blog once she was done with classes.

Now that she is on break from school we have more time to devote to blogging.

In the picture above I am in my castle a favorite place to go and rest.

I will enjoy continuing in this community and learning all of the various things in the

coming weeks .
